REPAIRS: Crane repairs fall into three major categories; mechanical, structural and
electrical. From our three locations with over twenty cross trained Service Foremen and
forty cross trained Crane Technicians and thirty fully outfitted service trucks on the road
daily we can provide break down trouble shooting and repair 24 hours a day, 365 days a
year. You can rely on these trained people to quickly respond and pinpoint and solve the
problem. Repairs can be completed on all equipment regardless of the original equipment
manufacturer.
PARTS: You can always count on our Parts Department to locate the needed break down
parts as soon as possible. Many of these parts are in our own inventory. We’ll help you get
your equipment back into operation with the least amount of down time. Over many years
we have found sources for all brands of crane and hoist parts and if no longer available, we
have the knowledge to reverse engineer and procure suitable replacements.
INSPECTIONS: OSHA requires that “complete inspections of cranes shall be
performed...”. At Reading Crane we fully understand the Code of Federal Regulations
requirements so you don’t have to. We fully train our Inspectors to perform proper crane
and hoist inspections. When the the inspection is completed, our Service Department will
provide you with a comprehensive Inspection Report for your records. To keep your
equipment in reliable and safe operation and to have the appropriate documentation, count
on the Reading Crane professionals.
TURN-KEY INSTALLATIONS: When you purchase a new piece of equipment it is
extremely important that that piece of equipment be installed correctly. The Reading Crane
installations crews have been thoroughly trained in proper rigging practices, mechanical
